If you're here, I bet you've already tried a lot of things to figure out how to live with less anxiety, less overwhelm, and more ease.
Most people turn to therapy first, and I know from experience that talk therapy is incredibly valuable and a great place to begin to untangle your anxiety. But sometimes talking it out just doesn't cut it. It's easy to get stuck living entirely in your head. Most of us are quite familiar with the nightly "3am moment" —staring wide-eyed at the ceiling, ruminating over the same thoughts without anything actually shifting.
If you've tried therapy and still feel like something's missing, somatic coaching might be exactly that missing piece. As a somatic practitioner coach, I take a body-based approach, using movement, breath, body awareness, and meditation to help you release tension, build resilience, and create a deeper sense of calm from the inside out. Somatics can help you feel at home in your body and transform anxiety into ease.

I've been so lucky to live a life of variety and adventure. As a young artist, I earned my undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, then moved to San Francisco to build a career as a graphic designer and art director. I worked at large, fast-paced agencies in SF and then NYC, and I loved the work. But eventually the grind caught up with me, and I made the leap to something completely different.
I trained at the Aveda Institute in NYC and began what became a deeply fulfilling 15-year career as a hairstylist, working in salons in Brooklyn and New Jersey. Eventually I became co-owner of a thriving Aveda salon in NJ. It felt like a dream come true.
Until it wasn't.
After years of physically and emotionally demanding work, I hit the proverbial brick wall of burnout. At first I didn't understand what was happening. I thought something was terribly wrong with me physically. I couldn't get out of bed. I withdrew from friends and family. I had done years of talk therapy, and while it helped me in so many ways, I still couldn't break the cycle of exhaustion and isolation.
That's when I discovered somatics, and things began to shift. Working with a somatic therapist was, honestly, mind-blowing. As I got more into my body and out of my head, I noticed real changes in my anxiety, my physical stamina, and my outlook on life. I knew then that I wanted to share this work with others.
I'm a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and a Somatic Anxiety Practitioner trained through The Embody Lab, and I bring all of it into my work with every client.
